Professional profile

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with kids, teens, and adults going through tough times—whether it’s anxiety, depression, feeling stuck, or just trying to make sense of life. I’m especially passionate about supporting children and families, and I have a special focus on early childhood development and emotional wellness.

I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, and I use a mix of different approaches depending on what feels most helpful. I draw from methods like CBT, ACT, Gestalt, and play-based therapy—but at the end of the day, I believe therapy works best when it’s grounded in trust, curiosity, and honest conversation.

How I Work

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Each person is different, so I take time to get to know you and tailor the work we do together to fit your needs and goals. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, dealing with heavy emotions, or facing thoughts you’re scared to talk about—this is a space where nothing is too big, too messy, or too much.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, lost, or unsure of where to go next, we’ll take it one step at a time. Therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and start to feel more grounded again.

When working with kids and families, I focus on building connection and safety. I help children express themselves in ways that make sense for their age and development, often through play, stories, and creativity. I also work closely with caregivers so we can figure things out together—because healing and growth happen in relationships, not in isolation.

What to Expect

Our first session is about getting to know each other. You don’t need to come with a plan or say the “right” thing—just show up as you are. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’re hoping for, and how I might support you in moving forward.

My hope is that therapy helps you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your choices, and more capable of handling whatever life brings. You don’t have to do this alone.
